I drew them in this style from memory. Based on Doobus Goobus' YouTube video "The Beatles Bully Ringo".

The first part of reimagining Project Hail Mary characters if they lived in prehistoric times.

Ryland Grace (Rylark Gracetar) is pretty similar to his modern counterpart, but he has messier hair, red body paint in the form of a blotch and stripes on his arms, bushier eyebrows, and a scruffier beard. He also wears a sabertooth cat claw necklace, and a mammoth pelt wrapped around his waist.

Rocky (Rockgar) is more rougher in appearance and has more jagged spots and pointier bands and some additional bands on two of his back legs, with one of them pointing diagonally. He is a more darkish tan color and is possibly inspired by prehistoric sedimentary rocks.

Adrian (Adridar) is pretty much the same as her modern counterpart, except she has a clawprint of her mate, Rocky. While most of the Project Hail Mary fandom imagine her as large, I imagine her to be the same height as Rocky. Adrian still has the same teal color as her modern counterpart, but it's a darker teal, and she also has jagged spots, but they are smaller.

Eva Stratt (Evarg Strattnar) is also the same as her modern counterpart personality-wise, but she also has messier hair and bushier eyebrows. Since cardigans weren't around in prehistoric times, she instead wears an elongated sabertooth cat pelt with a belt fashioned from the pelt of a cave lion. She also has body paint on her arms, but they are two blotches.

Carl (Garl) has messier hair, bushier eyebrows, and a scruffier beard as well, and is kind-hearted and good friends with Ryland Grace. He wears a cave lion pelt around his waist, and his body paint is composed of three stripes, but they are more wavy. He also wears a sash likely made from the pelt of a prehistoric fox.

I imagined that he had a tenuous grasp at walking well when he was a baby eridian.

Ryland Grace, having gotten a better grasp at his eridian form, is offered eridian clothing by Rocky. Ryland Grace refuses, saying that just because he's able to wear this type of clothing doesn't mean he wants to wear it. The shirt that Rocky is holding in this drawing is likely a green-ish color.

Rocky's sign says "Give Rocky ride or everybody die". Meanwhile, Homer's sign says "Give me ride or everybody dies".

Features Rocky wanting uppies from Carl (he is only featured in the movie adaptation, and not the book), learning to walk but falling over, hiding under a blanket and laughing, dumping a bowl of eridian food on his head and having joy from it, and Rocky with his mate Adrian, who is also a baby eridian.
