Are these variations in the tail feathers stress bars or natural variation? I haven’t been able to find any example of stress bars that look similar; they’re all thin and either black or white. This green cheek is 12 weeks old, I’ve had him for nearly a month. He came to me at 8 weeks fully feathered with this banding already present so I was not responsible for any trauma that occurred while these feathers were growing!
