Returning player

Hi,

Returned 5 days ago. I stopped back in 2022 after getting the dark veldora team, I think?

Wondering if any of these new characters I got from the welcome back and events are any good?

Also, icecoldjoker recommended for new players to pull on the banner with Esprit but I’m wondering if I should go for Tales Shion? I only have 3k gems atm so I figured I could guarantee her.

And then just see if I continue playing until anniversary. But I seemed to have missed half anni and the OP characters they had there.

Does anyone know if past anniversary had OP characters or was it only half anniversary that has OP characters?

Day 1 casual player, after Iroi I have less than 13k annuliths

I also skipped Irois signature arc and all of my limited characters are A0. I also didn’t get Nanally cause I messed up in the beginning and couldn’t grantee her so I skipped. Also skipped hotori.

How is everyone guaranteeing every single limited character? I buy the hunter pass for 9.99 but I still fee like I’m struggling to get every single limited character. Especially since I skipped 2 already.

Is there something else I’m supposed to be buying besides the hunter pass? Do I have to do every single side quest and 100% every event? I buy all of the fons and annuith from events btw.

All advice is appreciated. Thank you.

Edit: air seems I misunderstood a post I read before and it didn’t say I could get a character per month but per “patch”.

Also it seems like the mining rights is what I should’ve been buying.
