Toronto Furnished Living? Experiences

Has anyone rented from them, I’m a student so I’m looking into prefurnished rooms for academic year either solo, one room in 2bd, 3bd. They came up after I was about to go for Harrington housing and all the Reddit reviews were saying that they were untrustworthy. Thank you in advance. Otherwise any good furnished rentals I could rent month by month from sep 1st to April 30 let me know, Facebook marketplace has been a hassle to go through recently so many scammers and since I can’t even go in person cause I’m international it’s a pain. Budget up until 1250 cad a month within 20-25 min of UofT St. George campus.

Harrington Housing Reviews? in 2026

Looking into some of their listings through facebook marketplace seemed too good to be true, spoke to the realtors affiliated with them and it seemed legit, but looking through reddit its a bunch of people complaining about it. Want to know general opinion abt it.

Fair rental price? Being asked to pay 1180 CAD a month + 200 CAD Service Fee (8 month lease)

Just wondering if this is a fair price for a prefurnished master bedroom, shared with me and two others, shared washroom. I'm close enough to campus that I do not have to take ttc and can walk. Thank you in advance.

Renting For Only Academic Year

What should i expect to pay for a single bedroom in a 3 bedroom condo on bay st for strictly an 8 month lease (academic year), if it’s not a modern building. The place I’m looking at rn is a shared bathroom and curfew of 10pm for bringing over guests an is priced at 1200 a month. Thank you in advance.

I'm a first-year math and econ student trying to break into finance. I'm an international student from the States, and fortunately, I was able to get a good internship this summer working at a well-paying AI company back in SF. I'm wondering how work terms function. Do I need to go through ASIP, or can I just get an internship in the States, take a semester off, and turn back. This is more geared for third year fall term/winter term cause most of my second year classes are year long.
