I currently have two ultra-wide 34inch monitors side by side and have decided to try them stacked so have a new arm for them arriving tomorrow. I ideally want to use a laptop on the desk and have the two monitors behind, but haven't seen too many people with this setup? usually they have their laptop closed.

Anyway, my question is with the monitors, one is curved the other is flat, is there any common sense ideas that I am missing on why one should be on top of the other?
