I built Timety: an open-source, offline-first productivity app (Tasks, Focus & Habits)

I built Timety, an open-source productivity app that combines Task Management, Focus Sessions, and Habit Tracking into one place.

My goal was to make an Open Source app that is easy to use but also looks good, so I designed it with a Neobrutalism-inspired UI and added some light gamification to keep things engaging.

Home screen

Some features:

  • All-in-one: Track your to-dos, run focus timers, and manage flexible habits.
  • Custom Calendar: A micro-dot calendar view to see your tasks, sessions, and habits at a single glance.
  • Analytics: Charts, velocity metrics, and streaks to track your progress.
  • 100% Private: Timety is offline-first. Everything is stored locally on your device. No accounts, no cloud sync, no tracking.

I am currently working on getting it published on F-Droid! For now, you can check out the source code, see more screenshots, and grab the latest APK directly from GitHub:

I would love to get some feedback on this! If you have any suggestions on improving it, or find any issues or just want to give some general feedback, feel free to open an issue on GitHub or if you want to stay anonymous, you can use the Tally form here.
