Needing some knowledge
My estranged father recently passed away. Everyone close to him told me he had a "coin collection" but they had never seen it. While cleaning out his home and storage we searched for it. Not knowing what it was stored inside of. He was a bit of a horder.
Finally, 6 weeks in we stumbled upon a 22" suitcase with small 6×6×6 boxes and socks? inside. In those boxes and socks was a "collection" of loose change. I'm slowly sorting through it but I know nothing. I always collected coins and bills because I liked the look. I never took the time to learn about value.
What can y'all tell me about these? They're the ones I'm most curious about at the moment. (There are 2 of the world trade coins)
*edit* I'm not looking to sell anything. Just looking towards approximate value, if any. There's tons of morgan dollars those were the nicest so far. there's a bunch of loose liberties. also around 200ish ikes and Kennedys.
His collection is the only thing I got to "inherit" besides a bill and a mess. I'll keep everything and pass it on to my son when the time is right. I'll make a few more posts through my sorting. I did order a red book.
