Hey Brains trust,

I'm investigating if getting a credit card (and if so which one) makes sense for my situation.

Currently I'm collecting invoices for work related expenses (mostly parking and bits from bunnings) and submitting them for reimbursement each fortnight. Generally its around $300 at a time, not great but not breaking my budget.

The problem comes up when i do FIFO work every few months and the amount jumps since i need to cover airport parking, rental car security hold and meals for 10 days. It can stack up to over a grand pretty quick. Not so great for the budget!

Unfortunately work isn't onboard with a business card as they have had issues with previous employees doing the dumb, and ruining it for everyone else (me!).

Doing my banking with NAB and Woolies is my local supermarket if that's relevant.
