Just moved into this apartment I love it, but first thing I noticed was a strong yeast smell, I managed to track it down to the sink. It’s been driving me crazy so I finally put in a maintinence request. I looked everywhere under the sink, noticed one of the pvc pipes dripping and that the dishwasher drain hose is digusting and has stuff in it, then I saw this on the wall. Is this mold or mildew? Is this water damage? I thought the wall was just dirty at first glance but now combined with the smell and dripping pipe I’m wondering if this is the culprit of the smell. The smell is like yeast when it’s rising or out of the packet.
