The student body where I study is incredibly diverse — Nigerian, Indian, Ghanaian, American, Canadian students all in one place navigating the same journey toward a US MD.

For international students especially, there are things nobody prepares you for — the cost, the lifestyle adjustment, the USMLE timeline, what clinical rotations in the US actually look like for IMGs.

Not here to sell anything or rep any school. Just a current med student who took the Caribbean route when the traditional path didn't work out the way I planned.
