Lookism keeps falling off beyond return
Lookism definitely fell off, it simply lost its soul and core message.
Don’t get me wrong, I don’t necessarily mind all the gang stuff, it’s somewhat entertaining and cool to some degree, but compared to what Lookism was about initially, it’s just bland and generic. The art is better than ever before, but now everyone looks like a K-Pop idol, displays demi-godlike feats and is a physics defying world class fighter performing in fights that feel like a turn-based rpg.
Again, it’s somewhat entertaining but just feels soulless, it used to be so special to me back then, it got me into martial arts and the best shape of my life. But now, ironically lookism kinda proved its initial premise of the stereotype right, it’s all about looks and standing in the world after all..
