Family kicked me out bcuz I'm gay so living with my friends plz help me out at What CAT percentile would I realistically need for old IIMs (BLACKI), newer IIMs, and other top B-schools like FMS, SPJIMR, MDI, IITs, etc.?

GNEM Profile Evaluation for IIMs/CAT 2026

10th - 83%

12th - 86%

B.Sc Botany - 92.04%

M.Sc Botany - Expected 80%+

Research Profile:

• 2 papers published in international journals

• 1 paper presented at a national conference

Achievements:

• 10th school topper (not sure if I still have proof/documentation)

Also, does the academic/research profile help compensate for being a GNEM candidate?

Hi everyone,

I’m planning to take CAT 2026. I come from a non-engineering background (GNEM) and I’m currently very weak in Maths (QA) and LRDI—basically starting from scratch.

I want an honest reality check:

Is it realistically possible for someone like me to reach 99 percentile in ~1.5–2 years?

What level of daily study and consistency would it actually require?

Has anyone here gone from beginner to 99+? What worked for you?

How should I approach QA and LRDI from zero?

I’m not looking for motivation—I want the truth so I can plan properly.
