Hi! Does anyone know a place in Los Angeles/Ventura County area I can take two parakeets to be rehomed? I visited my grandpa recently in Simi valley and he has two parakeets in a small cage they do not fly inside the house they are both cage bound. He was given these birds and was not ready to take them on as he has two prey driven dogs. I educated him on why this horribly wrong and he is opened to rehoming and surrendering to someone who can give them a better life. He is 85 years old and unable to really do much so I’m taking the initiative to find a place where they can have better lives! (I myself am unable to care for them as I have two cats). I’ve asked around but no luck yet. Any resources and leads are much appreciated!
