Hi everyone.
So it says on my lease that there will be a $50 late fee each day my rent is late. I'm currently around 10 days late (paycheck coming in late) so that would mean a $500 late fee. My current rent is $1400.

This is my first experience in LA (and in USA) so I don't know how late fees work but I find it aggressive and I was wondering if it was truly legal to enforce $50 a day? Thank you!
