Does our case still have a chance?
Hello everyone, I'm a vet, and my wife is an asylum seeker who entered the country in 2022. They denied her asylum claim, and we are currently appealing the decision. My wife does have a Removal Order, and it has been there since 2023. We got married in 2024. We have filed an MPIP (Military Parole in Place) in 2024 and an I-130 in 2025. Our I-130 interview went well, and we were approved on the spot. We got our approval notice right after that. The problem is that ICE hasn't yet approved or denied our MPIL, and we're stuck. According to our lawyer, "ICE has to approve the MPIP, then we will file the Motion to Terminate the Removal Order. Only then, if the judge removes the removal order, can we apply for a green card." The problem is that our MPIL has been filed for over 2 years, and ICE still hasn't done anything about it.
I just want to ask if our case still has a high chance of obtaining a green card?
Thank you, everyone, and hope you all have a great day!
