Helllooo !! I have been scouring this page and other resources but I have yet to determine my ideal island(s) for a 7-9 day trip with my mom in July.

Our priorities are beach, small town/city with good food and lively restaurants (though not looking for party vibes) that are both easily accessible without a car. Preferably would stay near beach and be able to easily walk to town for dinner/drinks. Would also probably like a bit more of a resort feel. We'd likely be willing to take public transport or a taxi once in a while to do one or two activities. We are both active and would likely hike if weather/island permissible but not absolutely necessary.

My current front runner is Naxos but would love other suggestions. TYIA!
