Forever brandmarked because of job title?

Hey guys,

I’m starting a production role in a large ad agency soon.
My dream was to land a jr art director position, but didn’t work out yet.

I’m wondering if I will be forever brandmarked as a production guy and if there are any chances to change to a art direction role within the agency.

Maybe some of you guys with big agency experience can answer this to me.

Thank you

Hello guys,

I graduated 6 months ago and after over a houndred applications and a lot of self doubt I finally landed 2 interviews this upcoming week.

Both of these roles are production heavy roles, one of them at a big agency, is production only work.

I’m pretty comfortable at prepress and production work in general but I would much rather want to do creative work.

My goal is to become a creative director some day so I was wondering if there are any cds in this sub that startet in production work.

If so what was your path what advise could you give me?

Thank you
