Still not confident

I started gym 2 years ago for the first time, used to go with my bf, he would teach me what to do and check my form. I just joined a gym last week after a year’s break, want to start this journey alone but I don’t feel confident about my form. I get extremely nervous around men lifting heavy free weights, and my main goal is to go to the gym consistently. I don’t want to overwhelm myself. I think I know how to do leg press, leg extensions, curls and lat pull downs. Everything related to shoulders, triceps, I genuinely don’t think I can do without guidance. I am thinking of buying a dumbbell set for home to learn.
Any suggestions to gain confidence?
