*I’m not trying to violate any rules or be an SSPX apologist, just genuinely confused*
I’m travelling and walked into a church today, where a Mass had just begun. I wasn’t too late, so I stayed and attended just like I would attend my regular FSSP parish (responses, received the Eucharist, etc). As I was walking I looked at their bulletin board to see if there would be mass at the same time the next day, and realized that it was an SSPX parish.
Since they’re technically still in communion, and it was a daily mass (ie I didn’t mess with my sunday obligation) is it just like I attended a normal daily mass? Or did I do something wrong (like is the mass technically illicit?) 😅
I would ask my priest (and will when I get back home) but as I said I’m out of my home country:(
