Does anyone else find gym shower stuff kind of annoying to deal with?

Every time I shower at the gym, I end up with wet flip-flops/shower shoes and never really know the best way to store them after. I usually throw them in a plastic bag in my gym bag, but then they stay damp and start smelling eventually.

Also curious if anyone else hates standing barefoot on the locker room floor while changing.

Am I the only one bothered by this or do other people have a better system for dealing with it?
