Ofuna Kannon-ji
A Soto Zen temple in Ofuna, Japan dedicated to Kannon Bosatsu. There's also a memorial on the temple grounds for the victims of the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombings. Apparently, the memorial houses a flame taken from the Hiroshima blast site and kept alive by a man whose uncle was killed by the bomb.
The atmosphere at this temple was quite lovely, and on the day I went, they were even hosting what looked to be like a family bocce ball day or something - lots of families with kids all enjoying their Sunday morning together🙏♥
