How to configure/connect Power Macintosh 7600/8600 to an LCD/LED monitor?
I started with the Apple II+ in 1979, then a LISA in 1982 and a Mac 512 in 1984 progressing through the first desktop iMacs and laptops to my current configuration of a 2019 27' iMac and a 2020 13" MacBook Pro. Still have the Laserwriter IINTX I bought with my Power Macintosh 7600/8600.
I used my upgraded 7600 to play all of the early Myst games. I am thinking about trying to fire it up again after several yrs of it being off. The 16" Sony Trinitron external monitor display has degraded so the brightness is bad, I would like to use a newer LCD/LED monitor but not sure of the display interface setup.
Any suggestions on configuring an LCD/LED monitor interface cable to connect with the display interface of the 7600 that was set up for a vintage 2000 Sony Trinitron Monitor?
