Hi y’all!
I’m one week away from sitting my final university exam and (if I pass🤞🏻) I’m hoping to travel within Japan for 10-12 days. I visited Sapporo 4 weeks ago during my break and couldn’t wait to go back and visit other places. For this trip, I really want to visit more of the rural or scenic areas and was hoping a few well versed travellers could give some recommendations. *Side note: idk if this relevant but I’m a 22 year old female.
So far, my itinerary is:
Day 1: arrive in Osaka in the evening
Day 2: USJ and maybe Osaka castle
Day 3: leave for amonohashidate (stay for three nights)
Day 4: take a day trip to Ine and return to amonohashidate
Day 5: explore more of amonohashidate
Day 6: head to kinosaki onsen (stay for 2 nights)
Day 7: kinosaki onsen

For the remaining days, I don’t know where else I should go. Places I’ve considered include Kanazawa, Gujo Hachiman, and tomonoura, but these places are a fair bit away from each other.
Also, for anyone who’s been to amonohashidate or kinosaki onsen, am I spending too much time in either place? I want to take in the scenery of these places because I enjoy taking photographs, but if I’m better off spending one less day for somewhere else, I’d love to hear your thoughts.
