I got my 9 month old male kitten neutered at 4 months old and since then, he developed hormonal behaviors such as mounting and displays of aggression with food and playing. No spraying, though. It’s weird because he didn’t display any of this behavior before being fixed.

My other cats never developed those behaviors after getting fixed so I was wondering what it could be? I don’t believe he’s cryptorchid as I’m pretty sure it would’ve been noticed when he was got fixed.

It’s starting to become an issue because he keeps mounting our only female cat and is very persistent in doing so. I’ve tried feliway and calming chews, but his behavior seems hormonally driven.
