Sand marks on oak bench
I’m building a window seat bench with an oak furniture board as seat. After putting the first coat of Osmo tinted Polyx Oil (Terra) on I noticed there were some marks from sanding (I used a random orbital sander with 120/240 but finished by lightly hand sanding with 320 grit paper). I have never used Osmo Polyx oil before and this is my first project involving ‘real’ wood instead of MDF/ply. My question: Can I only sand the affected areas back or will this create problems (i.e. uneven colouring) when applying the 2nd coat and I’m better off sanding it all back to remove all the osmo polyx? Any advice is greatly appreciated!
