ECE Area of focus / specializations, incoming first year student
How do the specializations work for ECE? I’m not completely sure how it works, but I’ve heard that in 3rd year you choose an area of focus to specialize in, how exactly does it work?
Also, is there a certain difficulty to specialize in certain areas. For example, if I wanted to focus more on software/computer-hardware, would this be more/less competitive than other specialization or no? Are there any restrictions for the specializations for EE vs. CE?
