Solid first year? Paid a pretty famous rap marketer twice (2 big jumps u see in the graph) and have been marketing myself thru multiple apps; YouTube shorts, TikTok, instagram reels, facebook, threads, clapper, Likee, OWN.Beta, and Scoopz. Following count is still low on all socials though.
So I’m out of laptop and I’ve been using Bandlab for beats, recording, mixing, somewhat mastering and distribution at $15 a month. I’m currently looking to go to as cheap as possible. I do not have a mic or my own personal room let alone house. I’ve been releasing for a year now and I’m wondering if fl studio on mobile is anything close to what I can get from bandlab without the monthly subscription and if so is it anywhere near what the laptop version of fl studio is like. Thank u for ur inputs to anyone who comments I appreciate it and u
What’s your thoughts on this company? Can I release same day/next day? Schedule releases? How much % do they take off the top once u stop paying subscription and does the music stay online forever once the subscription is canceled? Curious because I finally took the time to sign up with BMI for royalties (a year later I know I’m later than dog shit) but they’re offering a free year subscription and that’s insane. I’m thinking about taking it immediately.

Spotify is showing I’ve gained 52 listeners on the Spotify for artist app over the last 2 days and 61 new listeners when I check my page on Spotify itself but Bandlab is showing I only got 7 listens on my single compared to 60 from Spotify for artists. Wtf is going on? Is Bandlab just behind? lol when does it update? I’m confused atp
Didn’t realize til this year that if ur bandlab subscription isn’t active they give u a deadline before taking down ur releases from all platforms. Whats a solid distributor to replace bandlab with? I’ve been thinking United masters and DistroKid are the best 2 options as of rn. I’m not trying to have to keep a subscription to keep my releases out. Id also like one that’s easy to move my releases from bandlabs distribution to the new one. Preferably something cheap whether it’s a subscription or not where I can move everything over relatively cheap or even free. BandLab atp is my studio and beats but that’s it.

What do yall think the best option is? I’ve been using Beats by Dre and the right ear bud just broke on me so I gotta get a new pair of headphones this week. Not sure if I should just get a new pair of Bluetooth beats or not
Met her here in this forum around 2-3 weeks ago and she absolutely delivered some heat on 2 verses on a single for my end of the year album! Here’s a preview of her absolutely astounding performance! u/apprehensivedruggie
