Where do you live in London?

Hard to believe that all HENRYs live in SW London (Wimbledon, Richmond etc) and that you all send your kids to private schools.

For those living in London with kids, where have you settled?

We live in Greenwich and will be sending kids to state schools and invest a lot in visiting family in France and Spain. Experienced will also include summer camps abroad, etc. We will also use everything offered to us around Greenwich like music lessons, museums, sports (including sailing etc).

EDIT: thanks for all the comments! And glad to see so much variety 😊

Visiting from the UK. We’ve got a family house in Costuma. We’ve got an 18mo and we would like to do new things. We are usually in Madalena and Porti area.
Looking for places to visit as a family (museum, beaches, zoos, etc)

I can’t believe I’m posting this but here it goes.

I work in FS and have been assigned a couple of people in their 20s. Never happen to me but one of them keep asking things about benefits and policies over chat none stop as if I wasn’t busy and could chat. They would follow up with ‘did you see my message?’

Even when I answer clearly and they don’t like the answer, they keep pushing, asking, etc.

I’ve always worked with very driven people that would focus on work and would bring up this type pf topics in appropriate moments like 1:1 or the occasional email.

This person sent me in slack that they didn’t appreciate my tone and that I sound abrupt.

I really wasn’t (double checked this with a colleague). I was direct and clear but I am senior and lead very challenging programmes and don’t want to get dragged into non-sense.

Is this a cultural thing? Does it mean I will need to be extra cautious?
