Which FIFA World Cup 2026 players attracted the most online attention? Wikipedia page views reflect active public curiosity: people do not just see a player in a social media feed - they actively search for or click on an article to learn more. During a World Cup, Wikipedia page views can therefore serve as a strong indicator of global public attention.
The ranking is based on English Wikipedia page views during the first 13 days of the tournament (June 11–23, 2026). During this period, 48 matches had already been played, meaning that two full group-stage matchdays had been completed for all 48 teams.
