Need a laptop for work (US)

LAPTOP QUESTIONNAIRE

  • Total budget (in local currency) and country of purchase. Please do not use USD unless purchasing in the US: I spent $300 on my last one and it felt like a lot but my range is $300-$800
  • Are you open to refurbs/used? absolutely
  • How would you prioritize form factor (ultrabook, 2-in-1, etc.), build quality, performance, and battery life? Battery life is a priority because im often not able to get to a charging port. My job involves work with canva, teams and often video editing as well so i can have a lot of tabs open at once, i'd like a computer that can handle it. My current laptop has touch screen capability which I love but could live without if needed. I have a 13" inch chromebook now, i like how light and small it is, i probably wouldnt want anything bigger than 15"
  • How important is weight and thinness to you? i carry my bag back and forth a lot so lighter is better
  • Do you have a preferred screen size? If indifferent, put N/A. n/a
  • Are you doing any CAD/video editing/photo editing/gaming? List which programs/games you desire to run. I would like to be able to run some kind of video editing or photo editing software. I dont play games on my computer now but it would be really cool if i could...
  • If you're gaming, do you have certain games you want to play? At what settings and FPS do you want? n/a
  • Any specific requirements such as good keyboard, reliable build quality, touch-screen, finger-print reader, optical drive or good input devices (keyboard/touchpad)? good speakers?
  • Leave any finishing thoughts here that you may feel are necessary and beneficial to the discussion. I really don't want an apple product. i use pixel products, i use google a lot, but i also use outlook for work. not a fan of ai stuff
