Hi all, I’ve got an lg tv, unsure of the exact model but it’s probably about 8 years old.
I’ve been having a problem where when turned on the green light comes on but the tv stays black.
This is inconsistently resolved by unplugging it for ten mins or so and holding the power button for 20 seconds before plugging back in.

The only reason I’ve even noticed this problem is that the TV speakers don’t produce sound unless it’s turned off and on again.

Does anyone have any idea of a diagnosis/fix?
