Found my guy has these bumps over him today. He didn’t have them over the weekend so come up quick. Moving fine, doesn’t seem lethargic, ate Friday. Anyone have any clue what they could be?
Exotic vet appointment booked but meantime any experience from anyone what it could be?
So, I’m a little confused. I have a pair of 20W aquarium lights (fluval Roma 125 LEDs) that were originally fitted by the previous owner into my hognose vivarium (he’s a 6 year old rescue) but I am super concerned they’re not good for him?
He’s a toffee conda so not albino and I’ve since put them on a timer so they mimic the natural daylight/nighttime cycle on and off but they hurt my eyes when I look at them so surely they’d be hurting his little eyes too or am I totally overthinking this?
I have since got him UVB (Arcadia ProT5 shade dweller 7%) so are LEDs even necessary now?
Anyone used aquarium lights (bonus is same ones as this) as a light source?
Super confused with conflicting information and also the fact they just damn hurt my own eyes so worried for my little guy if need to switch out asap.
