Welcome my new bag-- HSS BK 30 Gold Madame

Almost a year ago I started working with Jim as he delivered my beloved auth replica, Miss Raisin Clemence. And as some of you have read before, I was so impressed with the whole process that I couldn’t wait to order and unbox another bag.
I stalk bags online and occasionally in stores as some of you probably do. I look at leather, color, combinations and hardware. I keep a list of what combos I’d like to use. I reevaluate my list and mull over my choices. And then I talk to Jim. I usually know the look I’m going for and I respect Jim’s experience to deliver my ideas.
This is an expensive hobby. When you buy a custom bag it should be a thoughtful process. There are many solid options available today for popular styles at different price points. But custom bags take time and a bit more money and a bit more risk. Working with Jim makes me feel like I’m in capable hands.
At home, I have a mixed variety of auths and reps from Hermes and Chanel mostly. But now my Hermes reps are in one of two classifications. It’s either a Jim bag or not a Jim bag.
Now for the bag… This is a 30 BK HSS Gold Madame Sellier GHW with Rouge H Chèvre interior, tonal stitching. My birthday bag; by me for me!
I won’t lie. I paced the floor waiting for the delivery guy.
The unboxing was an event in itself. It gives one just the right amount of excitement and anticipation-- almost as if you were in the store. Well--I was in the kitchen; but OK.
The structure on this Sellier is beautifully sharp without feeling rigid, and the Gold Madame paired with the Rouge H chèvre interior is even richer in person than any picture I can share. The edging is incredibly smooth. The weight and balance feel comfortable and well proportioned. I can’t wait to use this bag.
This bag will take your breath away. It is exactly what I asked for and I couldn’t be happier.
Our collaboration started right after the Lunar New Years break. I ordered mid March and PSPs came in on May 3^(rd). The bag was in my hands on May 14^(th).
