With Giant gravel bikes, should I get the paint job I want and upgrade later, or get the components I want and repaint? How easy or difficult are upgrades later with Giant bikes from 2026, like mechanical to wireless? What do you guys do when making purchases?
I like the Revolt Advanced 2 2026 paint job, but I want wireless. To get wireless, I would have to go the Advanced Pro version which is a significant price jump, which I might be able to tolerate if it had a paint job I loved, but it doesn't. Should I just get bike with the paint job I want and just upgrade to wireless later? How should I go about thinking about this?
