Looking for guidance for failing a course
Hi everyone, l'm looking for any advice because I'm feeling really stuck with my LVN program. I failed my semester by one class and was told I could potentially make it up through a CLEP exam. After a few months of back and forth, my program director is now saying the school won't accept the CLEP after all, regardless of it being a different class and fulfilling the same credit. (It was a prerequisite but I was able to take it during my first semester.)
I really want to move forward instead of losing all my progress. Has anyone been in a similar situation or successfully appealed something like this? This is a public university and not private. Is there any way to advocate for myself or get the school to reconsider? Any advice would be appreciated.
