We Work Remotely charged me twice after cancellation and ignored all support emails
I want to share my experience with We Work Remotely Job Seeker Pro because this situation has become ridiculous.
- On Feb 27, I signed up for their $2.95 trial.
- I canceled the next day because I didn’t find any value in the subscription.
- I also removed my payment details from the account.
- I never received any cancellation confirmation email.
Then on March 27, I noticed a $14.95 charge on my card even though my account still showed “Basic Membership.”
I emailed support immediately asking for a refund and explaining that I had already canceled. No reply.
I sent follow-ups. Still no reply.
Then on April 28, they charged me AGAIN for another $14.95.
What makes this even more concerning is:
- My account still shows Basic Membership
- Their Transaction History tab only shows the Feb 27 and March 27 transactions
- The April 28 charge does NOT even appear in their billing history, but it does appear on my bank statement
So basically:
- canceled early,
- removed payment details,
- no cancellation email,
- charged twice,
- support completely ignored me,
- and one of the charges is missing from their own transaction records.
At this point I’m starting a chargeback through my bank.
Has anyone else experienced this with We Work Remotely?
