Concrete driveway beyond repair?

Hi all, I’m looking to repair or replace this concrete driveway. As you can see it’s heavily damaged and most of it was caused by the neighbor’s 20 year old tree with roots that have cracked and lifted the concrete.

I’m considering repairing the concrete but I’m afraid it’s beyond repair. I’m open to replacing the entire driveway. That’d allow me to add a small 10x10 turnaround pad as well since I’m on a slightly busy street.

The other option is to demo all concrete and go with asphalt. I do like the black look as it’ll match with the white exterior of my house.

Some folks have suggested overlaying the asphalt on top of concrete but some research I’ve done says that’s not a good idea.

Any thoughts?

P.s the last photo is ai generated of what I want the final result to look like.

Infection on my scalp?

Hi everyone, I had a hair transplant about 1.5 years ago and my progress has been great.

Recently, I’ve noticed white, dandruff-like flakes coming from my hair along with some shedding in the front.
Looking closely, there appears to be a white/infected-looking area in the front of my scalp. I did some research and wondered if this could be related to Candida or another type of fungal infection.

Does this look familiar to anyone, and what would you recommend for treating it?

I’m 30, male, exercise 3–4x/week, don’t smoke, eat fairly healthy, and rarely drink.

Thanks in advance!

10 Floor Building Floor Plan

I’m building a 10 story building with 20 three bed / 3.5 bath units. The apartment floor plans are all the same with the right and left side mirroring each other.

I spent a majority of my time reiterating the apartment floor plans to get it to this point.

I’m looking to get any feedback from architects/engineers on what I should change or consider before moving forward with this plan.

The goal is to create a luxury boutique building and use some units as short term rentals and sell the others.

Open to any feedback!

Need help re-designing small house

I just bought a small rancher with 804sqft above ground and 804sqft below ground for a total of 1,608sqft. It currently has 3 beds and 2 bath. I have a plan to make it a 4 bed 3 bath.

In my sketch above I show how I plan to add a master bath on the main floor, open up the kitchen for open concept and add a second bedroom in the basement along with a kitchenette and family room area.

I’m open to any suggestions, especially in the basement as there’s a few different options for utilizing the space.

Thank you in advance!
