Rock stage makeup

Hi all,

Hope it’s ok to post here!

I’m looking for some advice on stage makeup, I sing with a rock pop choir and we have a gig on Friday that we’ve been told to wear rock stage makeup for. I’m not bad with makeup, I have my day to day looks down and if I was heading out or to a wedding I know how to tweak my makeup for that but I feel a bit out of my depth here.

We’ve been advised to go big so that we don’t look washed out under the lights and to lean towards an edgier, rock style

So my question is:
a) what would you do above and beyond your regular “going out” look for this?
b) any tips on longevity in sweaty conditions under the lights?
