I was selected in the lottery this year and my employer is in the process of filing my application.

I’m hoping to move to Illinois to Massachusetts to be closer to family after filing, and I’ve received confirmation that I’ll be in the same wage level if I move states (L2).

My employer recommends that we do premium processing and that I don’t move until COS, but now they are recommending that I don’t move altogether (even after Oct 1) due to risk of denial.

Would greatly appreciate any advice on this.
