I originally found out about this profession as it was recommended by a university applications advisor as an industry which is quite in-demand with a lot of projected job growth in the next decade as nuclear medicine therapy is being researched and is becoming an increasingly effective alternative to chemotherapy.

My question is: are these claims accurate? They make nuclear medicine look like a very promising career path to go down. Is the job market as promising as it seems?
