Sneakpeek for my next controller
Challenges to overcome:
* revisiting the push and pull mechanism on the encoder
* shielded/stacking pcb
* cleaner text on my print (unfortunately no multicolor at hand atm)
* backlight (nice to have)

My communications panel is finished. Might not be perfect, but it is more than functional. Learned quite a bit about creating pcb's, had a blast designing the case. Also learned that my design skills are not perfect yet, nevertheless I will place the files on thingiverse after cleaning them up a little.
The few comments on my previous post pushed me to start a radio build. I wanted more than just a solder board, thus had a go at pcb design. Some errors where made, but they were easily fixed. I have 4 PCB's over feel free to reach out to get one they're spare 😆

Finished my fcu, only missing backlighting, but thats more a nice to have (potentiometer is installed so could be a later addon). Now thinking on what to do next. The Efis, which i still operate via the sim screen, or Comms which I have set on automatic due to the scroll nightmare?

Still missing 1 rotary dial, 2 (optional) potentiometers, cable management and a casing, but a 95% functional FCU
Final items are on the printer and about 30 solder connections to do
Currently in the prototype phase om my FCU, using cherry blues as buttons and pull function of the encoders.
Still figuring out how to work around the max7129 as a led matrix (both 7-segment and normal leds)
