I found this off a tree at my job lmao I’m wondering if I let it soak in water will it get soft ? And if so if I can use it on a small size ewg hook as a mini urchin bait ? 😂🫣😭

I’ve been fishing for a month and some change I started buying any and everything I seen on YouTube and don’t get me wrong they work but you do not need it all . A tackle box of bunch of tackle makes fishing harder as a veggies because instead of fishing you’re thinking about what bait to use , just get 3-4 good baits dependent on water color , the cover you’re fishing , and what the fish in your pond or lake is eating also so other small details but those are the main I think just have fun don’t think to much about it good luck!!😆
