roast my cv - keep getting rejected for paralegal roles in london

hi all!

i keep getting rejected for paralegal roles pre-interview and i’m not really sure why considering the experience and grades are there? have i not set everything out in enough detail or the right kind of detail? so confused

could it be because i don’t have a vac scheme, or PP city experience? (both places of work have been boutiques)

i am targeting city pp but i’ve been applying to better paying in house roles as well and both have pretty brutally rejected me? a pp firm sent me a PFO within six hours of applying 😭😭😭😭😭😭

mid 2.1 from UCL but one of my modules was 50

hi guys,

i came out with a 64 from UCL bc one of my modules was 50 despite all of the others being high 2.1s (68s) and 70+

is there any point in me applying to london city firms w a third class module on my transcript? i should’ve just done something easier idk why i picked it, much to regret but i can’t even go back and fix it

currently getting corporate law experience at a boutique firm so work experience wise im in a pretty good position but idk it just feels like a huge obstacle to cross
