I just wanted to post this here in case I can help anyone. I’ve seen many posts about people asking how would they know if anything is wrong. You will know 😩
You will know you have hematoma if you get intense SHARP pains at a 10 pain level you will be doubled over. So very sharp pains def go to ER.
So I developed a hematoma after surgery. O had umbilical hernia surgery open no mesh on 5/5. I went to ER last night in severe pain. In my ride side and the ct showed that
I’m currently being kept in hospital for 24hrs so I’m here overnight
They said since I don’t have infection they didn’t wanna drain anything at this time
And that it should go away and re absorb but the blood in there is making everything hurt so bad. I’m just concerned how long it will take to absorb
Anyone deal with this?
I had umbilical hernia surgery a week ago I thought I was finally doing good yesterday but then last night developed sharp pains mostly on the right of my abdomen so of course I get worried thinking I am having appendicitis so I was up all night.
I’m also gassy and having little mild diarrhea last couple days OFF AND ON I thought was because I was taking so much advil for days. So I switched to Tylenol but now I have stopped for past day.
Also wanted to add I was NOT on antibiotics so that wouldn’t be stomach upset issue.
I have no fever or anything idk if I should go to ER ? I’m not doubled over either but I def feel pain
