Managing plan during injury/pain

Hi all,

I've just come off a ten day break from running because of a holiday. I'm currently doing a 5k improvement plan. I had my first run back 2 days ago and had to stop after about 3.7km due to pain in my ankles and lower back. I had another run today and again had to stop, this time after 2km.

I'm not sure what the cause is but it doesn't feel like running is an option at the minute, so just wondering how best to manage my plan. I don't want to lose progress and start from scratch.
