I’ve struggled with hip pain on and off since I received a lumbar fusion in my 20s. Lately it moved from an inconvenience to an issue. I had imaging done and was diagnosed with stage 3 AVN of the hip and have a THR scheduled. I was also diagnosed with high blood pressure. The pain was increasing my BP but probably medication I should have been on for sometime.

Anyway, after going on Linsopril and Fenofibate my pain decreased SIGNIFICANTLY. Could the increased blood flow be helping pain? I know I’ll still need a THR but considering putting it off until the fall.

Anyone have a similar experience? TIA!
