Hi Seniors, I am a first year B.Tech student and currently focusing on DSA. I have solved 100+ questions on LeetCode and I am trying to stay regular with practice.

My main problem is revision. After solving questions, I often forget the approach after a few days. Even questions I solved 7–10 days ago feel unfamiliar. Sometimes I remember only the basic context, but I still need to look at the solution again and spend time understanding it.

I follow a sheet and solve questions pattern-wise, but I am confused about how to revise properly and how often I should revisit old problems. Since I am in first year, I do not have much experience with this process.

I would really appreciate your guidance on:

  1. How to revise DSA questions effectively
  2. How often to revisit solved problems
  3. How to remember patterns and approaches for a long time
  4. How to balance new questions with revision

Any advice or strategy from your experience would be very helpful. Thank you!
