Was looking for some help making a decision here.
I’m trying to get ahead and have been looking at the SF86 for when I start applying to jobs and have had zero issues that have concerned me in terms of answering each question other than 26.2.
26.2 asks if you have ever had financial problems due to gambling?
I have no outstanding debt from gambling but I did have a weekend 2 years ago, where I like an idiot misjudged when a transfer was going through resulting in a significant overdraft of my account ($1500 roughly). I was able to have some friends of mine help me cover it for when the actual transfer came through and immediately paid them back and rectified it.
This is the only gambling event that would be of concern to make me think to answer yes but I didn’t believe this fit the financial problems they were looking to weed out and didn’t want to make everything more difficult if possible.
Based on this how would you guys advise me?
