Looking for thoughts/feedback.

I’ve got a company out currently laying QuickStep (Impressive) laminate in a herringbone pattern.

I appreciate there requires an expansion gap, however, some parts of the flooring are touching the walls whereas some of the biggest gaps measure up to 15mm - literally none of the edges have been cut straight, everything is all wonky at the edges (please see photos).

We’d removed the skirting prior to them fitting the floor and the QuickStep website states the expansion gap should be anywhere from 3mm for low humidity and up to 8mm for high humidity.

Of course going to highlight all this before any payment is made but wondering peoples thoughts?

Looking for feedback.

In process of getting new carpets and hard flooring throughout our new house (by a company, not DIY), however, upon first look I’m not happy about the herringbone at front door.

Specifically the massive gap at the bottom on the front door and corner, and a couple of pieces of the slightly darker tones of laminate which have been laid next to each other - also, you’ll see see at the bottom of the picture the herringbone has been doubled up at one section instead of being zigzagged like the rest.

Thoughts?
