1850's house spalled brick question
Sorry no pictures.
A family member was asking me if I wanted to buy his MIL's house since she's in hospice. I've helped with the lawn and small projects in the past so I saw some of the damage but dont have any pictures.
Her late husband had it tuckpointed ~20yrs ago and it was done with cement mortar. Maybe a year or two ago I noticed how stalled the brick was, like ~75% of the brick was crumbling and the soft core exposed.
Its a quaint little house but I was wondering if anyone has had experience bringing something so damaged back to life?
